I was going this thing earlier this year where some friends wanted some pictures done for them. So I asked them some basic questions:
1- Whats your favorite color?
2- Whats your favorite animal?
3- Whats your favorite mystical creature?
4- Whats your favorite food

...........................................

And so on. Well this is the picture for my friend Ashley and let me tell you it took me a few months to finish it, mainly because of all the stuff I have to do. And it was mainly the digital part. Most of the sketches are completed.

Again, I tried some different styles of coloring here. I am considering asking for crit here.... I'll go ahead and click it and see what kind of feedback I get. Just be sure to keep it fair.

And yes. This was a rather odd themed picture. It's like... spider fairy... Oh man. I can already here the song D: Of course other than the spider theme, now you have this random ass scythe just out there, hanging about, looking awesome but not too deadly. Yeah. My imagination with this one went a bit too wild...

A very lovely piece of work! The colours add immensely to the mood of the picture, and all work very well when combined. The anatomy of the character is fairly good, I can see a few details that could be adjusted, but for the most part, everything is as it should be. I do feel the character pops out a bit too much from the background, however. She is decorated and bold, while the background is pretty plain. A bit more detail would help. I love the outfit you decided upon; it, along with the scythe really gives us a good feel of the character, and who she is.
The Artist thought this was FAIR

I wish I had a subscription so I could properly critique it, oh well... Overall very nice picture. The color is especially nice, and seems give it it's own style. BUUUUTTTT (and please don't hate me) the hand kind of seem to just hang on the end of the scythe. It doesn't really look attached. And even thoguh it is more of a personal choice to make her/it more feminine, you could try thinning the kneck ever so slightly and give her a fuller chest. But these are small complaints.
